Just Too Perfect.

Remember me oohing and ahhing over this fabric not so long ago?

I had a hunch that it wold be the perfect fabric to tie together the new nursery scheme: working nicely with both the new drapery fabric and the artwork.  I had hopes of covering a new ottoman I’d inherited for free with this fun little fabric.  I ordered a sample to see the fabric in real life with the other elements…

I received the sample in the mail on Thursday.  And sure enough it was perfect.  I was so stoked.  Until I received the shipping quote on 2.5 yards of the fabric.  50 buckaroos!  WHAAAAT?!?  So basically doubling the cost of my order.  I just can’t justify that.  Problem is I can’t find a Canadian store online that sells this fabric (“Great Spot” in the Chartreuse Multi colourway from Fabricut).  I’ve e-mailed a couple of other US stores, won’t bother with European stores since our dollar isn’t as strong against theirs, and checked Etsy and Ebay.ca.  Nuthin’.  Harumph.

Any fabric finders out there know where I could hunt down a couple yards of this absolutely perfect fabric?

**Update: I was able to track the fabric down at a few more online stores.  Brentwood Interiors was selling the fabric for slightly cheaper per yard and offered significantly better shipping.  Not to mention their customer service was top notch! HOORAY!**

P.S. - I would also like to note that just because the shipping was too steep for me I would still totally recommend Lewis & Sheron, particularly if you’re Stateside!  Their correspondence and customer service was top notch, their fabric is beautiful, and it sounds as though they’re working to find a better way to affordably ship to Canada!
