So loving sequins this winter.

This year I probably won’t do that. But I’ve had a big crush on sequin skirts lately, so I wanted to create an outfit based on one. You want to know where I imagine myself wearing this one? I’ll tell you… but don’t make fun of me!
I have a very vivid imagination. And when I watch stuff like the Oscars I always imagine what I’d wear when I receive my award. So this outfit is for when I have a gorgeous home featured in Canadian House and Home magazine. Ha ha! It’d be a Christmas edition, and my home would be decked out for some swanky soiree, and of course I’d be working in the kitchen wearing a sequin skirt and heels. ;)
Well, that’s not gonna’ happen. But I’m probably not gonna’ buy a sequin skirt either. File this one under “just dreamin’”. :)
I keep the rest of the outfit fairly simple - solid tights and a turtleneck. The sweater, tights, and shoes are all navy blue, which is a colour I adore with metallics. And that thin green velvet belt adds just a bit of quirky festive flair.
