Bench for the Island

I featured this picture yesterday and found the idea of a bench/banquette at the island very intriguing.

What do you think?  Can you imagine little kids all in a row on the bench?  I almost feel like it might be safer for kids.

But how would adults feel?  Perhaps too squishy.  And where would you find such a thing?  Hmmm… I’ll keep pondering.  Feel free to leave your thoughts.
