Lofty Dreams
If you’ve followed this blog for any length of time you know that my dream is to live in a farmhouse: clean-lined country style with some pretty traditional and edgy rustic touches.
However my runner-up dream homes (and far less likely to ever happen) are:
1. A seaside cottage - with yards of white beadboard, an abundance of windows, lots of navy blue and nautical accents, and
2. A great warehouse-conversion city loft. In my mind it has a sort of Chicago look in a great architecturally classic building. It would have plenty of exposed brick, wide rustic hardwood floors, insanely large windows, and an eclectic collection of frenchy antique pieces and modern classic furniture.
