So, a baby, eh?

So.  What can we conclude from a week of pictures of kids rooms?  I love ‘em (kids and kids’ rooms, that is).  Also, I really like teepees.  (Still want to sew one for Little M.)  Also, I’m in the planning stage of redesigning his room so that he can accommodate a roommate. :)

Yup, this year my New Years’ resolution is to have a baby.  Because, seriously, that’s huge enough and I don’t need to make an other goals, really.

This Little One is due to arrive in late July (so we’ve git a long way to go!) and is coming right according to plan.  Some people are surprised that this is part of a “plan” since we’re still in our 2-bedroom condo, and there’s been no (hear me, zilch) movement on our house-building situation.  But I have assured Sean that I can raise two little ones in our place.  Wonderful people have successfully raised more kids in less space.  (But our society is tainted by House Hunters, and thinks that when they’re pregnant with their first child they need to move out of their 1500 ft bungalow into a giant 5 bedroom McMansion with “more space”.  Jeepers.  Didn’t I say not to get me started on House Hunters?  And yes, I said “jeepers”.  I do that.  OK, mini-rant over.)  Anyways, it’s not ideal, but far from impossible, and I’m happy with the plan.  Plus, now I get to re-design the nursery!  (Well, not completely… a lot of it’s pretty neutral and will stay as-is… but I’ll share some of my plans in the near-ish future!)

I’ve been feeling super nasty (I am really bad at being pregnant), and I am fully gonna’ blame that (and Christmas craziness) on my suckiness of blogging previous to this week.  And I won’t lie to you, I’ll probably play the pregnancy card again for inconsistent blogging.  But I’m pretty confident you’ll all survive. ;)

Ummm… so I think that’s what you need to know!  Happy New Year, everyone!
