where did you get that striped scarf!?! its all over tumblr and i need it, i can send you a picture if you are unsure of what im talking about but its white with blue pinstripes and its an infinity scarf. PLEASE reply!

A long time ago (before I went credit-only) I posted a picture of a white and blue striped infinity scarf via Pinterest, and the thing’s been reblogged over 5,000 times.  I’m pretty sure it’s from a shop called Shopmamie, but it’s no longer available.  Sorry, peeps.

How many table lamps does a person need?

My name is Justine and I’m addicted to table lamps.  Weird addiction, I know.  But in interior decorating lamps are such great accessories - they can add colour, texture, interesting shape, and they’re useful!  A while back I was inspired by this lamp:

The Robert Abbey Delta Table Lamp at Lamps Plus

And I created this lamp from a vase with a reminiscent faceted shape and a lamp kit from the hardware store:

My vase-turned-lamp DIY.  Read about it here.

So now I’m not only addicted to table lamps, but ALL THINGS THAT COULD BECOME TABLE LAMPS!  It’s getting out of hand.  One only needs so many table lamps.  *Sigh*  But check these out:

They’re vases at HomeSense.  The tall one reminds me of this lamp from West Elm:

And how about this one?

Yes the horse.  It may seem crazy to some of you, but horses are a really big trend right now.  And I’ve seen a few horse lamps around, like this one:

That’s a Jonathan Adler lamp.  Except that it’s $400, and the vase is, like, 20 beans.

And how pretty is this one?

And even if you’re not into the horse lamp thing that’s OK.  The point is, there are so many great vases that could be lamps!  So go make one for me then tell me about it, OK?  I’ll feed my addiction vicariously.
